The 2015 Eisteddfod proudly announces the return of the Speech & Drama Division. This follows requests from teachers and practitioners who have demonstrated a strong interest in it. Eisteddfods are a great way for our younger generation to gain experience in performing at a high level, in front of a crowd and in a competition setting.

The revamped Speech & Drama division of the Lake Macquarie Eisteddfod will be organized on Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th of June at the Performing Arts Centre, Lake Street, Warners Bay.

The very young (4 years old ) to older teenagers and adults will entertain with their interpretations of humour, tragedy, story telling, mime, public speaking, and more. They will improvise in groups, give impromptu speeches, dress in costume to present characters and compete for championships.

The sessions are open to the public and cost $5 to attend. This is a very entertaining event and highly recommended for a visit.
