Our Eisteddfod Journey Comes to a Close
After many years of proudly supporting young performers through our annual Eisteddfod, the Lake Macquarie Music Society has made the difficult decision to discontinue running Eisteddfods in the future. This change reflects our evolving focus as an organisation and our commitment to directing our energy toward concerts, community music events, and new opportunities for local musicians.
We warmly encourage students to continue their performance journey by enrolling in the Sydney Eisteddfod, where they will find an enthusiastic community and a very warm welcome. The Sydney Eisteddfod offers a wide range of sections, excellent performance venues, and a long tradition of nurturing emerging talent.
We thank all students, teachers, families, and volunteers who have supported the Lake Macquarie Eisteddfod over the years. Your dedication has helped create countless memorable performances and inspired a generation of young artists.
