The pacific palm court orchestra consists of the quintet of peter coombes violin, anne berry cello, marie fox flute, rod barnes clarinet, and mercia buck piano. It has performed this year to high acclaim, presenting a combination of elegance and fun entertaining audiences with a very wide repertoire of familiar and not so familiar works. This program explores nostalgic memories of the early twentieth century. Works include: in a monastery garden, bethena, schon rosmarin, bethena, celebrated minuet & dances & novelty works from the 1920’s.
Opera hunter soloists will perform favourite songs from opera, music theatre and the victorian parlour!
Cost is $20 and includes a sumptuous afternoon tea.
